Privacy Policy

Built By Rounds is a boxing timer and training experience that uses profiles, music, trainer audio, progress tracking, and optional bag-listening punch estimates to make workouts more immersive. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how you can request deletion.

Information We Collect

• Account details such as email address, display name, handle, profile identity, and app settings.
• Workout data such as sessions, rounds, saved presets, streaks, badges, ranks, and workout completion.
• Optional bag-listening stats, including derived punch counts and impact classifications when the feature is enabled.
• Music and experience data, including profile, round or recovery track usage, trainer pack selection, and entitlement status.
• Device and app data such as installation ID, platform, app version, push notification token, diagnostics, and crash information.
• Purchase and entitlement data from app stores and RevenueCat. We do not receive your full card details.

Microphone and Bag Listening

Bag Listening is optional. When enabled, the app uses the device microphone to estimate punch activity during a workout. We do not intentionally store or upload raw microphone recordings. The app may store derived workout stats, such as punch count and normal or heavy impact totals, so progress can be shown later.

How We Use Information

• To run the timer, workout flow, profile system, music playback, trainer voice features, and progress tracking.
• To sync your account, badges, saved sessions, purchases, and settings across supported devices.
• To provide support, troubleshoot issues, prevent abuse, and improve app stability.
• To send notifications if you allow them, such as workout reminders, streak prompts, app updates, or product news.
• To manage subscriptions, one-off packs, trial access, and app-store purchase restoration.

Service Providers

We use trusted providers to operate the app, including Supabase for backend services, RevenueCat for purchase entitlement management, Google Play and Apple for app-store billing, and Expo for app delivery, updates, and notifications. We may also use content generation tools to create app music, trainer scripts, artwork, or admin content, but we do not intentionally send private workout data to those tools for marketing content.

Data Retention

We keep account and workout information while your account is active or as needed to provide the app. Purchase records may be retained where required for tax, fraud prevention, accounting, or legal compliance.

Your Choices

• You can use guest mode where available, but some synced features require an account.
• You can disable Bag Listening, trainer voice, voice cues, music, and notifications in app settings where available.
• You can request account or workout data deletion at builtbyrounds.com/data-deletion/.

Children

Built By Rounds is intended for users who are old enough to safely participate in boxing fitness training. The app is not directed to children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy as the app evolves. The latest version will always be posted on this page.
